Ironside's eyes glazed over, awash in memories from a lifetime ago.
"Cerdic, the mightiest of the Saxon kings. We fought together in the war against Uther. I'm not sure what befell him on the Thames...probably dead the same as every other man I knew that day. He had a son, Cynric, that may have suceeded if he did not meet with the same fate."

"I know little of the Anglo-Saxon kings," Mawr admitted. "I have lived on Ynis Sci for longer than ordinary men live all their lives. But I know this, old kings die and new kings rise. No kingdom is without a king for long."
OOC - did we say which kingdom Cerdic ruled? I think I may need to make a list of Saxon rulers

Bearic and Urias made camp in the forest west of the coast close to one of the main trails through the forest. His mind wanders from animal to animal throughout the other parts of the forest seeing if the sorcerer and her group is anywhere else.

Urias gets a sense of a human presence out there but he can't tell much more than that. The green woman has already departed. Urias gets a vague sense of direction in which to travel in. He thinks the sorceress might slightly southwest of him.

OOC: We did not. I meantioned him and Cynic when questioning Alfred about the saxon kings, but Alfred said he didn't know much of the other Saxon kings besides his own and his enemy.
"Well perhaps I can avoid this cycle if this blade is as powerful as you say. King Ironside the Eternal has a nice ring to it." he answered Mawr with a grin.

OOC - remind me to do that after I am done with the fight then!
Mawr smirked.
"Ironside is not a name, sir. Not a true name. I think you would be laughed at if you took that for your kingly name. Do you intend to make Camelot your kingdom?"

Hallewes listened to the two with amusement.
"He would simply be known as a warrior king." she said

'They would not dare laugh' Ironside thought savagely.
"I would see Uther's legacy burned to the ground, perhaps with my new kingdom built on its ashes." he answered.

"All kings require a name, girl," Mawr said. "Giving something a name gives it power."

The Red Knight laughed long and hard.
"I'll contemplate that on the day I find it necessary to take a name." he replied when he'd composed himself. "You're awfully curious, old man. Where do you hail from originally?"

Meldryn Mawr looked down his nose at the knight. "From Wales. That is all you need to know. Can you blame me for wanting to know your plans? You have roused me out of my pleasant home and I have a vested interest in what happens next." He considered for a moment. "Have the two of you ever talked about the future?" OOC - hint hint, Ironside should tell Hallewes about the sword, and Hallewes should tell Ironside about the baby and I REALLY think both should occur before you meet up with Urias

Hallewes watched Ironside as Mwar spoke to him.
"We have discussed it a little." she said to him "But things have happened since that first discussion."

OOC: Oh ok. Haha thought you PMd it to me because you wanted it to be a secret.
"What's to discuss? We build an undead army, I steal Clarent from the boy king and wield its power, then we conquer the kingdom. Anything that comes up after that is simple in comparison."

"It won't be done as quickly as you might think sir." Hallewes said quietly
