The girl couldn't speak for some time. Iseult heard Gaius shut the door as the girl friend. Some time later, she looked up, her face wet.
"I went to gather herbs in the woods. There was a man. He forced me to...he forced me."

Iseult was shocked by what she said, but kept her arms round the girl and then manoeuvred her into a chair and knelt down next to her, keeping her hand on the others hand and squeezed it reassuringly, "You are safe now. Can you tell me your name?"

The girl wiped her face.
"My name is Seren,."
"Poor child," Gaius said. "I'll fetch you a drink. Please tell Iseult what you can. I know she will help you."
He leaned close to Iseult and whispered "Perhaps she will tell you something she might not want to tell me."

Iseult nodded and then went back to smiling at the girl and rubbed her hand, "Seren is a lovely name," She said kindly, "My name is Iseult, can you tell me if you hurt anywhere?" She asked, taking a scrap of cloth from nearby and dabbing at the corners Seren's eyes softly to clear them.

Seren sniffed and blinked. She was quite pretty though not quite beautiful.
"He hurt my breasts and thighs and...and between my legs too. And my arms. He bruised them when he held me down. I hoped Gaius could give me something so I don't have a child. I don't want a baby like that."

"Of course not," Iseult said, trying to seem understanding, "I am fairly sure there is a potion for you, and I can speak with Gaius about it for you if you would prefer me to? There is not much that can be done for bruising, but are you bleeding anywhere?"

She shook her head.
"No. I wasn't a maiden so that's not a worry. But I was still frightened. Thank you for your help, my lady. You are very kind. I just...I want him punished."

"Could you tell who it was? Or anything about them that might distinguish them?" Iseult asked the Seren, still holding her hand.

"I don't know him, except he was a knight. He had a scar on his face. And he was tall with broad shoulders and dark hair. I've seen him around Camelot but I don't know his name," she sighed.

"I can take what you have told me to Sir Ector, if you would like, a scar on his face is pretty distinctive, so her should be able to tell who it is." Iseult assured her, "I will not even have to mention your name."

The girl nodded.
"Oh, thank you, that would be wonderful."
Gaius had been busy with his potions. He leaned close to say "If the man is to be punished under the law, Seren will have to testify against him. That is how the law works, my dears."

"I know," Iseult said, looking to Gaius, "But there is no point in revealing Seren's name until the man is caught, the sooner it gets out the more people will know about it before it needs to be. If Sir Ector cannot name this Knight, then will will not have much to go on," She said, speaking to Gaius directly before turning back to Seren, "If it got to testifying would you be okay to testify against him?"

The druid girl looked up at Iseult. Her face was still a bit damp.
"I will/ I want him to suffer, as he made me suffer. I want him dead>"

Iseult was not sure about that, she supposed it was not an unfair reaction on the girls part, but she couldn't see a Knight being killed for what he did, despite it being horrific. "we shall have to see what happens." She said and wiped Seren's face again with the cloth, smiled and stood and went over to Gaius to speak quietly with him, "She would like a potion to make sure she is not with child," Iseult said to him, face relaying more confusion now than she did when she was speaking to the girl.

"Of cousre. I have something for that. Poor child. No woman deserves that. Trouble is, some men think druid girls are easy prey because our customs are different."
He reached for a potion and showed it to her.
"This is the one we need. Could you fetch a cup of ale, please? The potion has a bitter taste."
