"We'll get our answer one way or another, your highness." Dinadan said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I must go return these."

Sir Degrevaunt greeted him courteously.
"Ah, are you finished with the blades, young man? They are not damaged, are they?"

Dinadan hadn't examined them very carefully, so he was unsure as to their condition. He did not recall any events which may have caused significant damage, so he answered based on that.
"Yes, they have served their purpose, and I believe they are for the most part undamaged."
He offered the swords to the knight.

The older knight took the weapons one at a time and then examined them minutely with his good eye. Each time he nodded approval and handed the blades to a squire. Then he crossed off something scrawled on a scrap of paper.
"All is well, Sir Dinadan. You may go, unless you need something else from the stores?"

"No, I cannot think of anything further that I'd require of you at the moment." Dinadan replied. "I will be sure to come back though should I think of something."

"Thank you." Dinadan replied.
OOC: Since Palomides is LOA, should I go elsewhere instead of returning to Arthur immediately?

OOC - up to you if you have something in mind

OOC: No, don't really have anything particular in mind. Most of the PCs/NPCs Dinadan would know aren't here...

OOC - I guess we'd better move onto the next morning then, we'll have to leave Palomides inactive for the time being rather than risk screwing up the timeline

//////////
The next morning, a messenger rides towards their camp. Word comes to Arthur as he sits eating bread and cheese with his captains and close companions.
"Will you come hear the message with me?" He asked Dinadan.
